Being Catalysts

Titus 2:11 (44205)

This morning, as I was thinking about what to put in the program this week, I was thankful for Catalyst and our people making a difference in this community. This is very important for the Church to reach their community with the love of Jesus.

We have one couple that is involved with search and rescue and emergency services. This is a great way to serve the community and glorify Jesus.

We have another couple that identified their need and the need of other mature folks for fellowship and community and work to meet this need for a group of folk needing companionship and fellowship.

We have had another fellow who just went to California to help a pastor move from California to Pennsylvania.

We have another lady who has spent her entire life serving the medical needs of others and demonstrates all the characteristics of a great host by regularly interacting and inviting folks to fellowship.

We spend time supporting local athletic teams, players, and schools, cheering on our local boys and girls as they grow and mature in a healthy manner.

Another couple has spent years helping a friend with medical needs, shopping, driving, and being there to help when the needs arise.

I was thinking about the name “Catalyst” and the vision I had for this church when we launched, and the blessing of being a small part and driver of watching people reach their community is such a blessing. Living our faith is much more important than speaking about it.

We are continually looking for ways to reach this community with the Gospel so some might be saved by Jesus sacrificial gift. Kingdom Men and Women just glorifying God with their actions.
