Hello Everyone, For July I want to recommend Charles Brock’s book Indigenous Church Planting: A Practical Journey. This is a powerful book written by a man with a wealth of church planting experience, primarily overseas, but a life of planting. Brock focuses on six elements to move the reader from the initial planting stage to the formation of a fellowship of churches focused on planting additional churches. I know it seems like that is a long ways to go in one single book, but Brock does it and it makes sense. Of course he cannot focus on every single nitty gritty detail, but with the emphasis on plants formed through indigenous leadership, it is not difficult to grasp the concepts and see where he is going and apply it here in the Upper Peninsula.
