We are a guerrilla church. A guerrilla church does not have a permanent home, but remains flexible and able to react quickly, very similar to the early churches in the ancient world. We are not tied to our past, we are tied to the Bible, and nothing else matters.
We exist in response to the Great Commission. There is a long line of believers being faithful to the Gospel of Jesus, from the first Apostles to believers today, ensuring a new community is formed in each generation.
We are part of a grass roots effort to reach the lost through the planting and starting of churches across North America that have a heart for the lost and a desire to faithfully serve in the kingdom of God. We call this being a Guerrilla Church.
Our guerrilla campaign focuses on:
- reaching those who do not believe in Jesus,
- addressing the needs of our community with the love of Jesus,
- and discipling believers to live faithfully and be doers of the Word.
From the moment Jesus began his ministry, he preached the need to repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matt 4: 17). People still need to hear this message, because without Jesus, we are lost.
We come together at 10:00 a.m. Sundays for our corporate worship service, which includes Sunday School. We have additional weekly small groups. Please contact Pastor Ian at (906) 201-4082 to find out where we are meeting each week. Please visit our YouTube page to watch our weekly message under Catalyst Baptist Church.
